Jason Windon

School Director

My name is Jason Windon and I am the Director at Regent High School. I have been working in education for 18 years, first as a social studies teacher and now as a school administrator; I have worked in both traditional and public charter schools and truly enjoy working with the students at Regent. I am a 2006 graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and a 2015 graduate of Concordia University with a Master of Arts in Education - School Leadership. Currently, I am pursuing my Ph.D. in school leadership and have recently earned my Superintendent's license. I also spent 5 years as a head high school varsity wrestling coach, 2 years as an assistant football coach, and 1 year as an assistant softball coach.

I have been happily married for 13 years and I currently have a daughter, 2 dogs, and 1 cat. My family and I enjoy traveling and experiencing new cultures. I am a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu with 15 years of experience and have practiced amateur mixed martial arts in the past; I am also an experienced wrestler and fitness/kettlebell/ Clubbell enthusiast.

As an educator, I believe that students need to believe in and trust the teachers and administrators in their lives and therefore encourage an environment of open communication and positivity. Here at Regent, we hold students, teachers, administrators, and everyone else involved in the education of our youth to high expectations.
