As an independent nonprofit organization, Regent High School is governed by a dedicated group of community leaders who put our students’ needs first, provide fiduciary oversight of public funds, and ensure compliance with all policies required by the Ohio Department of Education.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Pursuant to ORC 3301.0729, there is a limit to the amount of time in which schools may engage in test preparation for students; approximately 2% of total instructional hours, with some exceptions.
The school wishes to apply for a waiver in order to provide assistance to the students who need the additional testing preparation time.
The Board shall hold a Public Hearing on the application for the waiver, and invites the public to provide commentary and/or opinion.
The Public Hearing is included on the agenda of the October Board Meeting:

The Board is required by federal and state law to hold a Public Hearing to allow for public comment on the use of IDEA Part B funds.
The Public Hearing will be held during the October Board Meeting.
